Bryson Burt was fresh out of high school and just beginning his college career when he decided to join HOMESTAR in 2018. He knew he wanted to work in the financial industry, be a part of his community, and educate those on building wealth. In 2018, Bryson reached out to HOMESTAR Division Manager Regina England to learn more about the mortgage industry. Then, Bryson came to his decision. Regina onboarded him, he passed his mortgage licensing tests, and he quit college! Over the last few years with HOMESTAR, Bryson was promoted from Mortgage Loan Originator to Branch Manager and recognized with several HOMESTAR awards.
Currently, Bryson is the Branch Manager at the Franklin, NC branch originating loans and advising others who seek his trusted advice on their path to homeownership. As a native of Franklin, Bryson has a deep appreciation for life in the breathtaking North Carolina mountains. The community surrounding him is home in more ways than one. Bryson enjoys making that positive impact he knows Franklin deserves.

Bryson's closest and strongest supporters throughout his life include his partner, family, and friends. However, his homebuyers and the journey he goes through with them also continue to be his "why" in this business. The burning passion he finds when helping a family to their forever home drives him to get up every day and show up.
"The very first loan I closed in my career was a $60,000 doublewide FHA that was beyond extremely complicated. These borrowers listened to every word and were so eager and grateful for the opportunity to own a home," explained Bryson on one of his most memorable moments in the business. "When they closed on their home and keys were handed to them, they both fell to the ground in tears. I knew at that moment that I was in the right business. That family has become one of the best referral sources I could ever ask for!"
He wholeheartedly believes and is an employee testament on HOMESTAR's values to give back to those who give so much to us. Bryson gives much of his time to the Future Business Leaders of America organization at his local high school and by serving on the Franklin Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, CTE Business Advisory Committee, Rotary Club, and Macon County Professionals.
Bryson was honored with being Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Business Person of the Year. As a true testament to his desire to stay in the know and be the most prepared loan originator for his homebuyers and business partners, Bryson is also a Xinnix Certified Originator, which is a prestigious industry designation held by less than ½ of 1% of all mortgage professionals. Bryson also received HOMESTAR's Top 7 producer in units for 2021, Top 10 producer in units for 2020, and a Star Producer for 2019.
